Message from the President, Denise Dilbey
BREB
October was a busy month for CREA. Recently CREA announced that they received written notice from the Greater Montreal Real Estate Board and Quebec City Real Estate Board indicating they intend to withdraw from CREA effective Jan. 1, 2014. Throughout the discussions with Quebec that have taken place over the last few years, CREA has maintained an unwavering focus on what is in the best interest of our members, both those inside Quebec, and those across the country. CREA remains ready to engage in conversation with all Quebec Boards. Although disappointing, this development should have little effect on the remainder of the membership.

How to price your home for sale
The Huffington Post
When selling a house, pricing it correctly is one of the most important steps. If the house is priced too high, it can linger on the market for months without any chance of selling. Even worse, if the price is too low, it will certainly sell, but the seller could be leaving tens of thousands of dollars on the table.
