Have you registered for the BREB General Election Meeting?

A General Election Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday Dec. 16, 2014 for the purpose of the following:

• Proposed By-Law Revisions
• Member vote for the 2015/2016 Board of Directors

The meeting will be held at the Brampton Real Estate Board located at 60 Gillingham Drive, Suite 401 Brampton, ON. A full hot breakfast will be available from 8:45 a.m.; the meeting will commence at 10:00 a.m. sharp. 2015 Call for Candidates

Nominations are invited to fill six (6) positions for Director. Nominations for positions must be submitted to the Executive Officer of the Board and such nominations must be received at the Board Office no later than Tuesday Nov. 25, 2014 at NOON. All nominations must be in writing on the prescribed form, be endorsed by two Members of the Board and contain the written consent of the Member so nominated. Ontario is seeking input on a proposed regulation to help ensure electronic documents used in real estate transactions are secure. A public consultation will help establish what, if any, regulatory measures are needed to ensure reliability of e-signatures and reduce the risk of fraudulent transactions when using e-signatures in real estate transactions.
