Mammography facility adverse event and action report

As part of the Mammography Quality Standards Act, Congress mandated there be annual reporting of adverse actions taken against mammography facilities. MEDRelief Staffing is excited to announce that our Vice President of Operations, Jence Cantu RT(R) (ARRT) has been selected by the Joint Commission as a panel member for Health Care Staffing Advisory Council. The council plans to meet multiple times annually to discuss and provide their professional opinions relating to Joint Commission Health Care Staffing Services Certification topics such as:
  • Opportunities for Certification program growth and improvement
  • Program policies and procedures
  • Current and evolving industry changes
Upon being informed of this honor, Marilyn Sackett, President / CEO stated, "We are thrilled that Jence has been invited to participate in this panel and help set the course for our staffing company!"



We are giving a big Texas welcome to Dawn McNeil, MSM, RT(R) (M), RDMS, RVT, CRA, FASRT who has joined the AHEC family as the Vice President of Professional Education. Dawn’s background spans education, management, clinical skills and professional involvement. She is a Fellow of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) and an ASRT Past President. She received her BBA in Business Administration from Mississippi State University and a Master of Science in Management from Belhaven College. Dawn is certified in multiple disciplines as well as having her certification from the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators as a CRA (Certified Radiology Administrator). Prior to coming to AHEC, Dawn was the Radiography Program Director and an Associate Professor at St Catharine College in St Catharine, KY. Dawn has been active in professional education and has been providing continuing education classes in multiple state meetings and organizations. She is a dynamic presenter and receives multiple requests for return visits.

She will take an active faculty role in our ultrasound training program as well as our conference and webinar offerings. We look forward to her contributions to our programs and you will not want to miss training with her for your CE. Look for her on our schedule and sign up for her programs.
