Thanks to its reputation for welcoming everyone with open arms and its thriving day/night entertainment the city of Branson, Missouri could be referred to as Sincere City, rather than Sin City.

Curious as to why Branson is such a popular hotspot for group tours? Come with us as we take you stop-by-stop on a hypothetical group tour of Branson. It will be a tour filled with entertainment, tasty treats, and a lot of fun surprises!

Setting the Scene for Your Group Tour of Branson, MO

To fully enjoy all that Branson has to offer, it is recommended that you plan for a 3-night group tour. This gives you plenty of time to see some shows, do some shopping, have fun at nearby attractions, and sample bountiful and savory buffets and barbeque at some of the amazing local restaurants.

Huskey Trailways in Missouri or a Trailways company in your state can help you properly plan your group tour to Branson. A representative can help you plan everything from what shows to see, where to stay, where to eat, and how to get from location to location.

The group tour detailed below and used as an example is a 3-night tour that occurs with a Monday through Wednesday hotel stay. All venues, attractions, and restaurants detailed within the sample group tour are just 10-15 minutes away from the hotel.

Day 1: Settle in at the Hotel, Grab Dinner, and Attend a Performance of an Illusionist Show

Hotels aren't just a place to rest your head at night. They can be used to enhance your group tour by offering access to amazing amenities. For your group tour, you will be staying at The Stone Castle Hotel located at 3050 Green Mtn Dr.

The Stone Castle Hotel is unlike any hotel you have ever stayed at before. A giant stone archway, similar to those seen on some of the largest castles in the world, greets you as you drive up to the hotel. Turrets were built on each of the buildings to give them the appearance of a medieval castle.

The inside of the hotel is just as memorable as the outside. Each of the guestrooms has been recently renovated. The hotel also features an ample buffet with hot and cold options, two pools, a game room, and a beautiful outdoor grotto.

Once settled, head to nearby Shorty Smalls for dinner. Not only does Shorty Smalls serve award-winning BBQ chicken and ribs, but it is also perfect for large groups. Upon arrival, your group won't have to wait in line as the restaurant has a private group entrance that leads to the semi-private dining room. So you don't have to wait for food to be served, each of your group's tables will be pre-set with salad and a combination of BBQ chicken and ribs.

You will close out your first day in Branson with a mind-blowing show by illusionist, Rick Thomas. Voted the Best Entertainer in Branson for 2018, Rick Thomas' performance is an absolute 'must-see' when you are in the city. Rick Thomas has perfected the art of illusion and will perform some of the most awe-inspiring and amazing tricks-of-the-mind such as making an entire helicopter disappear right before your eyes.

With advanced planning, your group can request an after-show meet & greet with some of the cast of the Rick Thomas Illusionist Show. If you are lucky, sometimes the stunning Great Pyrenees dogs which are part of the show, also participate in the aftershow event.

Day 2: Set Aboard the Titanic, Do a Little Shopping ans See Live Performances from Legendary Entertainers from the Past

After filling up on a hearty buffet breakfast at the hotel, which is included in the room rate, your group will head to The Titanic Museum & Gift Shop where you will actually step aboard the luxury cruise liner. This museum features an enormous, almost lifesize replica of the main section of the Titanic. While touring the ship, you will learn interesting new facts.

Larger groups who make advanced reservations to the museum will be able to customize their experience. The museum will provide a private tour guide who will customize the tour to meet your group's interests. For example, if your group is spiritual/religious, your tour guide can tell stories about the religious/spiritual aspect of the voyage and can even show you religious artifacts. The tour guide can tell stories about many of the heroes who gave their lives to save others, the ship’s pastor and the "band that played on".

Lunch will be a quick affair with a stop at Godfather's Pizza & Chicken Buffet which is known for serving the best pizza in town. Make sure that you save room for dessert as they serve amazing dessert pizza options.

Once you have had your fill at the pizza buffet, you will be able to shop around town. There are plenty of small boutiques and outlet malls where you can find amazing souvenirs and presents.

For your afternoon entertainment, legendary entertainers such as Elvis, The Temptations, and Marilyn Monroe will take to the stage in the Legends in Concert. Your group will have the option of sitting together in the general theatre seating area or reserving tables in the balcony area. Regardless of where you sit, you will be treated to a fantastic show.

Make sure to bring your camera and autograph books as, after the show, the entertainers will meet up with your group. They will gladly take pictures with you and sign autographs!

Dinner awaits at Big D's BBQ. Your group will be seated at tables that were handmade by the husband and wife team that owns the restaurant. Whether your group chooses to eat a buffet dinner or order individually, make sure to try the wood-smoked beef brisket and potato salad as they are award-winning.

Closeout the evening by attending a performance of The Haygoods Show which is held at the Clay Cooper Theatre. Considered to be local Branson legends, The Haygood family has been singing, dancing and entertaining audiences for over 27 years. It is an absolute must-see show for anyone who visits the Branson area.

Day 3: Travel Back in Time and Enjoy Music from the 50s, Have Fun at the Local Fun Park, Grab Dinner and a Show, and See a Performance of a Family Variety Show

Step into a time machine after eating breakfast at the hotel buffet by attending a performance of the Hot Rods & High Heels Show in the Clay Cooper Theatre. Filled with familiar songs from the 50s, this extremely upbeat, lively show will have you singing and dancing. Attending this show is a great way to kick off your last full day in Branson.

Immediately after the show, your group can head across the street to Track Family Fun Park for an adventure. There is something for everyone at this outdoor family fun park. Hop in a car and race each other on the 3-level go-kart track, square off in a competitive game of laser tag, or score a hole-in-one on the mini-golf course. Make sure to save time to ride The Branson Ferris Wheel which is a replica of the very ride that used to be a part of the Chicago World's Fair.

A local favorite for lunch or dinner is Starvin' Marvins. It's a second-generation family-owned restaurant with plenty of room for groups. The cuisine is "Seafood with a Cajun attitude" and it offers great menu options with many Cajun dishes using family recipes or chose from traditional country style dishes.

Making sure to hit all the "must-see" attractions your group trip will head to The Dolly Parton's Stampede & Carriage Room. While dining, your group will be treated to a full equestrian show. The show features 32 horses and is filled with awe-inspiring “tricks”, contests (piglet races), music a light show and other performances.

Your last evening in Branson will end with a bang! You will attend a performance of Clay Cooper's Country Express. This family variety show features musical performances, comedy sketches, dancing, and lots of audience participation. Throughout the performance, you will get to see the legendary Clay Cooper and his wife Tina, as well as their children. The family, plus an ensemble of talented performers, join together for a great time and with Clay's comedy, you never know what's going to happen — but it's guaranteed to make you laugh.

Day 3: Your Time in Branson Comes to an End

Before you hit the road and head back home, sleep in a little and enjoy the breakfast buffet. Then check out of the hotel and head back home with memories that will last a lifetime.
