Canada East Equipment Dealers' Association – Organizational Purpose and Mission

• The purpose of Canada East Equipment Dealers' Association is to promote and enhance the general welfare of retail equipment dealers primarily in the Province of Ontario and Maritime Provinces.

• Our mission is to promote and enhance the general welfare of our dealer members by providing a timely source of industry information, representing dealer interests in government regulation and legislation, enhancing dealer and employee education, supporting equitable dealer/manufacturer relations and offering specific business-related services which enhance the success and profitability of dealer members.


Deere hits equipment milestone

The John Deere Construction & Forestry Division recently marked a production milestone with the completion of its 250,000 backhoe loader at the Dubuque Works factory. The model 310SK backhoe loader was purchased by Phoenix-based NPL Construction, who took delivery of the machine at a special ceremony at the Dubuque Works facility. The John Deere 310SK backhoe loader, part of the K-Series, is the latest of more than 50 different backhoe models that have been produced at the Dubuque Works factory since 1971.

Titan Machinery acquires Adobe CE LLC of New Mexico

Titan Machinery announced that it has acquired Adobe CE, LLC, consisting of one Case Construction equipment dealership located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Albuquerque location represents the Company's first dealership in New Mexico. The dealership is strategically located in Albuquerque to serve a twenty county area. In its most recently reported fiscal year, Adobe CE, LLC generated revenue of approximately $8 million.

Heftee lift inventor and company founder dies

It is with sadness that Heftee Industries reports the passing of J. Edson McCanse, the company's founder and inventor of the Heftee service lift. Ed McCanse founded McCanse Engineering in 1988 together with his wife, Lillian, and one of his sons, Rick. The company initially provided contract design services, safety training and other engineering consulting services.
