• The purpose of Canada East Equipment Dealers' Association is to promote and enhance the general welfare of retail equipment dealers primarily in the Province of Ontario and Maritime Provinces.

• Our mission is to promote and enhance the general welfare of our dealer members by providing a timely source of industry information, representing dealer interests in government regulation and legislation, enhancing dealer and employee education, supporting equitable dealer/manufacturer relations and offering specific business-related services which enhance the success and profitability of dealer members.

Infrared technology has been hailed by scientists as something that could revolutionize the way wheat, barley and durum are graded and sorted. Crude protein, moisture and density of grain, particle size and other aspects can be measured by infrared light. Until now, the seeds are graded and sorted using visual, gravitational and colour-sorting means. Infrared light technology looks at the chemistry of each seed in the sorting process. With infrared technology, not only is there a higher volume sorting capacity, but the subjective visual element would be eliminated, allowing greater opportunity to separate quality kernels from lower quality feed kernels. Anaerobic digestion system set to be commercially available

U.S. researchers have unveiled what they claim is the first commercially available, high-solid anaerobic digestion system. The technology was invented at the University of California, Davis, and is now licensed to Clean World Partners, a Sacramento-based start-up. Anaerobic digestion relies on bacteria to break down biodegradable waste material in the absence of oxygen. While anaerobic digestion is not a new technology in itself, operational and material-handling limitations had prevented its commercial adoption. More
