• The purpose of Canada East Equipment Dealers' Association is to promote and enhance the general welfare of retail equipment dealers primarily in the Province of Ontario and Maritime Provinces.

• Our mission is to promote and enhance the general welfare of our dealer members by providing a timely source of industry information, representing dealer interests in government regulation and legislation, enhancing dealer and employee education, supporting equitable dealer/manufacturer relations and offering specific business-related services which enhance the success and profitability of dealer members.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has vacated a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency rule that would have allowed Navistar to sell heavy-duty diesel truck engines that fail to meet the latest pollution standards for engine exhaust. In January, EPA had issued an interim regulation that allowed the Illinois-based truck and engine maker to pay fines in order to continue to sell noncompliant engines. More
