Ontario farmers file for stay of province's neonic regulations

Ontario's corn and soybean grower group is taking the province's planned regulations on the use and sale of pesticide-treated seed to court. Grain Farmers of Ontario (GFO) said it filed a request with the provincial Superior Court of Justice in Toronto, seeking a legal "interpretation" of the province's rules on neonicotinoid-treated seed.

Looking to add a bigger tractor to their farm and save some money along the way, Greg and Glenn Honey of Bracken, Saskatchewan spent the winter of 1978-79 building a giant yellow and black workhorse that has come to symbolize farmer ingenuity and sheer power. The original 500 horsepower, 2-wheel-drive Honey Bee tractor returned to Canada's Farm Progress Show this year for the first time since its debut at the show in 1979.

Liebherr to take over production of Claas Scorpion ag telehandlers under new deal
Equipment World
Under a new agreement between the two companies, Liebherr will begin manufacturing the Scorpion agricultural telehandlers for fellow European manufacturer Claas in 2018. Liebherr will take over manufacturing of the Scorpion from Kramer-Werke, a subsidiary of Wacker Neuson.
