Canada East Equipment Dealers' Association – Organizational Purpose and Mission

• The purpose of Canada East Equipment Dealers' Association is to promote and enhance the general welfare of retail equipment dealers primarily in the Province of Ontario and Maritime Provinces.

• Our mission is to promote and enhance the general welfare of our dealer members by providing a timely source of industry information, representing dealer interests in government regulation and legislation, enhancing dealer and employee education, supporting equitable dealer/manufacturer relations and offering specific business-related services which enhance the success and profitability of dealer members.


Versatile gains traction with articulated tractor
The Western Producer
Versatile publicly unveiled its tracked, articulated tractor during Canada's Farm Progress Show held recently in Regina. The Delta Track uses a custom-designed drive engineered by track maker Camoplast rather than an off-the-rack track. However, it retains the durability and serviceability of the outboard planetary axles, for which the company’s tractors are known.

AGCO to introduce smaller RoGator

Last year AGCO announced it was "retiring" its SpraCoupe brand of sprayers, which catered to farmers who want smaller-sized application equipment. That left AGCO with just its RoGator and TerraGator lines of higher-capacity machines. But with the recent announcement of the pending introduction of the RG700 RoGator, it's clear the company still sees a market demand for sprayers with a smaller tank capacity.

Claas launches new Scorpion telehandler

Volvo's new short swing radius excavators offer big machine features

Volvo says its newest short wing radius excavators offer both performance and productivity in confined spaces. The ECR58D and ECR88D feature a narrow body design, centrally positioned boom and rear that swings within its track shoe. The D-Series excavators have automatic two-speed travel and hydraulic travel pedals, a joystick that controls slew and offset movements simultaneously and a three piece high tensile steel X-shaped frame undercarriage.

Subsurfer applicator, other tech highlighted in Madison Science Review

Ohio State University's upcoming 2013 Manure Science Review will highlight will include the first ever demonstration in Ohio of the new "Subsurfer" applicator, which injects poultry litter and other solid manures into the soil without disturbing ground cover, as well as the new Nitrogen Potential Assessment Test for corn, which enables more accurate nutrient application while being unaffected by soil temperature and moisture.
