Cleaning starts by reading and understanding the pesticide label and sprayer cleaning instructions, before you start spraying. Some pesticides require specific deactivating agents or cleaning procedures. Some pesticides like sulphonyl ureas are extremely active, even at very low concentrations.

Kinze's multi-hybrid electric planter at work on test plots

Six of Kinze’s new electric multi-hybrid planters were used this spring on test plots in Iowa, Illinois and Indiana. The company says it will put the model into limited production for the spring of 2015 planting season. Kinze first announced the concept planter in December. The system provides farmers with the ability to change the seed hybrid they are planting automatically as the planter moves through the field. This spring the company collaborated with several seed businesses, including AgriGold, Beck’s Hybrids, Burrus Hybrids and DuPont Pioneer, on test plots.

TRP chooses McCormick for new tractor franchise

Farm machinery engineering business TRP Ltd has committed two of its branches to supporting McCormick tractor users with essential parts and service back-up throughout a large swathe of eastern counties agriculture. TRP chairman Roger Pearson and managing director Jonathan Pearson spent several months examining options for a new tractor franchise at their Sleaford headquarters in Lincolnshire and the Everton branch near Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

Hoffman, Toro's chairman and chief executive officer, as he remarked on the company's rich history and the individuals and innovations that helped shape the company's success was Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton, who presented the official proclamation declaring "Toro Day" in the State of Minnesota, and Bloomington Mayor Gene Winstead.
