GIE+EXPO 2014 biggest ever, show looks to expand footprint next year
Green Industry Pros
Kris Kiser, president and CEO of OPEI, said that as of early Thursday morning (October 23), GIE+EXPO 2014 attendance was shaping up to post a 6-10% jump. "This is the biggest GIE+EXPO ever," Kiser said in reference to the lawn and garden industry's premier event that made its debut in 2006 when the International Lawn, Garden and Equipment Expo merged with GIE. Additionally, the show is now "busting at the seams", according to Kiser, as a result of gradually expanding and all-new exhibits. This could very well force the show to expand its footprint into the North Hall of the Expo Center in 2015.
