• The purpose of Canada East Equipment Dealers' Association is to promote and enhance the general welfare of retail equipment dealers primarily in the Province of Ontario and Maritime Provinces.

• Our mission is to promote and enhance the general welfare of our dealer members by providing a timely source of industry information, representing dealer interests in government regulation and legislation, enhancing dealer and employee education, supporting equitable dealer/manufacturer relations and offering specific business-related services which enhance the success and profitability of dealer members.


JCB launched new Fastrac tractors

At the opening of Agritechnica 2013 in Hannover, Germany, JCB launched two new models of FASTRAC tractor series. The machine will replace the current 2000 Series with improvements in all aspects of its design, performance and driver comfort and convenience, resulting in higher levels of versatility and productivity.

Lindner wows audience with four-wheel-steer tractor

One of the quirkier tractor launches came from Lindner, a company that currently doesn't sell into the U.K.. The Austrian maker is popular in hilly regions thanks to its low centre of gravity which means it can work on alpine-style slopes of up to 60 per cent, but it was its unusual four-wheel steer tractor that drew in the punters.

New Holland T9 '14 SmartTrax designed to tread lightly, offer big power

Farmers looking at the 2014 T9 New Holland tractors may now choose the redesigned SmartTrax feature. These wide, lighter and more cost-effective tracks offer a few changes over the last iteration. As Gary Wojcik, with New Holland explains from the Farm Progress Show, New Holland's design team has moved the accumulator on the track and offers a high idler version vs. the triangle version, allowing the tractor to climb and work in more conditions.

Updated Xerion models offer a wealth of efficiencies for 2014

Ropa Tiger brings in beets cleaner, faster

Forty Mile Ventures, which is operated by the Kamper Group south of Burdett, bought a Ropa Tiger Micro Topper this year that defoliates, digs and loads beets in one pass.
