19. Judge rejects request to stop NH dealer 'bill of rights'

April 24, 2014: The plaintiffs, Deere & Company, CNH America LLC, and AGCO Corporation, brought this action against the defendant, the State of New Hampshire, challenging the constitutionality of Senate Bill 126 ("SB 126"), which adds farm, forestry, and industrial equipment, such as tractors, to the RSA 357 -C definition of motor vehicle. Before the court are the parties' cross-motions for summary judgment. The plaintiffs assert that retroactive application of SB 126 will unconstitutionally impair their existing contracts in violation of article

18. Titan Machinery reports revenues of $451 million
Farm Equipment
September 11, 2014: Titan Machinery Inc., a network of full-service agricultural and construction equipment stores, today reported financial results for the fiscal second quarter and first six months ended July 31, 2014. For the second quarter of fiscal 2015, revenue was $451.0 million, compared to $488.2 million in the second quarter last year. Equipment sales were $320.1 million for the second quarter of fiscal 2015, compared to $358.4 million in the second quarter last year.

16. CEEDA Dealer Profile: Coleman Equipment

From May 1, 2014: Coleman Equipment Inc has seen a lot of changes over the last 65 years in the farm equipment industry. O.T. Coleman started fixing cars in 1920 in downtown Kitchener. In 1922 he moved his business to the family farm just south of New Dundee. It wasn't until 1939 with the modernization of farming that 'O.T.' sold his first tractor, a Minneapolis Moline (MM) 'G'. From that point on it was farm equipment that dominated the business.

14. Belarus MTZ Equipment is back in U.S. & Canada

13. Massey Ferguson reveals first detail on new global series

12. Kubota's new M7-series mid-range tractors introduced

October 23, 2014: From the floor of its 2014 Dealer Meeting in Nashville, Kubota Canada Ltd. today introduced its M7-Series tractor line, three new mid-range tractors in the 130 to 170 horsepower range. This is the largest horsepower offering for Kubota in its tractor line-up to date.

11. The combine that never was

From April 24, 2014: To retain a foothold in the pull-type combine market in the 1980s, White Farm Equipment needed to create an all-new model with rotary threshing technology. The 9550 was to be that model. It would “out spec” International Harvester’s 1482, which dominated the pull-type market in Western Canada at the time. That meant it would be a very big machine for the era.
