It's a big group of people, and they're just now starting to enter their prime travelling years. But what does this generation of younger travellers really want when it comes to hotels?

The timeshare industry has returned to growth mode, in part due to the influx of a new type of owner — one that will help to continue the trajectory of the industry. According to the newly released "Shared Vacation Ownership Study" from the ARDA International Foundation (AIF), these new owners are younger, have higher incomes than current owners and represent a more culturally diverse cross-section of U.S. households.

The National Timeshare Owners Association (NTOA) has appointed BuyaTimeshare.com CEO Wesley Kogelman to its Advisory Board, as the group continues to expand its influence in the timeshare industry.
The Advisory Board was created to spark fresh ideas and bring a broader knowledge of the timeshare industry to the organization following a management restructure and the appointment of Gregory Crist as Chairman and CEO.

United States Attorney James L. Santelle of the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced that following a six day jury trial, Jason D. Schultz (age: 31), and Jessica M. Gilbert (age: 25) of Green Bay, Wisconsin, as well as Jessica Weinhart (nee Hensen) (age: 31) of Neenah, Wisconsin were convicted of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud. The jury further found that they had engaged in a telemarketing scheme that defrauded at least 10 individuals over the age of 55 thus subjecting each to enhanced penalties under the Senior Citizens Against Marketing Scams or SCAMS Act.
Investments aimed at improving B.C. ski resorts' operations in lead-up to winter

B.C. ski resorts have been upgrading facilities, renovating buildings and otherwise gearing up for what many expect to be a busy winter season.
The province's largest resort, Whistler Blackcomb, has invested in the most ambitious upgrade, spending $6 million on new gondola cars as part of an overhaul that started when the mountain closed.
