Texas hunters concerned about quail

North Texas dove hunters would like a second season late in the year. Hunters in the south want to keep the second season they have. And quail hunters would support lower bag limits. "So what's your point?" you might ask. The point is these are results from a recently completed game bird hunter survey conducted by the state and Texas Parks and Wildlife, and this information will be used to develop wildlife conservation and management plans in the years ahead. More

After the court ruled that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to gun ownership and that the District's handgun ban was unconstitutional, it was an upstart band of libertarian lawyers that celebrated on the marble steps and received the glory for the breakthrough decision. The NRA, the nation's premier and most powerful gun rights group, has worked hard not to be in that position again. Authorities looking for person who dumped dead coyotes in desert

The discovery of approximately 47 dead coyotes on Azogue Avenue in far East El Paso was a disturbing sight. While the area has been cleaned up, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department continues to investigate. Game warden Ray Spears says the coyotes were shot as part of a "varmint hunt." More
