Alison Walshe LPGA Tour Pro to highlight ladies golf during the year of The Gathering

 Tourism Ireland is delighted to announce LPGA tour professional Alison Walshe as its new "Gathering 2013" ambassador for ladies golf in the United States.
Alison's role will be to bring a heightened focus to the world famous golf experience that exists on the island of Ireland for women, to build on the legacy of the hugely successful Solheim Cup event that took place at Killeen Castle in County Meath in 2011 and to encourage lady golfers to travel and be part of The Gathering in 2013.
