Application Process for the 2012 International Buyers Program is Now Open

The annual application period for consideration of U.S. trade events interested in participating in the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service 2012 International Buyer Program (IBP) is now open. The IBP was established by the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service to promote U.S. exports by bringing international buyers together with U.S. firms through promoting leading U.S. trade shows in industries with high export potential. The IBP benefits U.S. firms exhibiting at selected events and provides practical, hands-on assistance such as export counseling and market analysis to U.S. firms interested in exporting. Each year a small number of U.S.-based exhibitions are selected to participate in the United States Department of Commerce (USDOC) International Buyer Program. IAEE is assisting the USDOC in its promotion of the program by making this information and the required application forms available to you.
