On Saturday, 29 October, Aquanale, International Trade Fair for Sauna, Pool, Ambience, closed in Cologne with very good results and an excellent mood. In combination with FSB, International Trade Fair
for Amenity Areas, Sports and Pool Facilities, Aquanale registered around 24,000 visitors. This result confirmed visitor figures on a very high level. The number of exhibiting companies increased by 10 percent to 299 suppliers from 27 countries.

McCurdy, CEO of GLM Holdings, also will take on the CEO role for GLM at the operating company level. At the same time, GLM Holdings announced that Doug Smith, formerly CFO of Education Dynamics, will become GLM's
chief financial officer and chief administrative officer at both the holding company and operating company levels.

The Washington State Convention Center in Seattle will offer free Wi-Fi in its client lobbies and pre-function space, as well as The Galleria — a four story public atrium featuring restaurants, shops and seating areas, through its partnership with Smart City Networks. Until now, any Wi-Fi connectivity at the facility only was available for a fee. The new free Wi-Fi
service will offer visitors to the WSCC and The Conference Center at Convention Place a wireless Internet connection in any of the convention center's public spaces to check email or surf the Web at no cost.

Exhibitors from the Cayman Islands, Finland and Sweden are participating for the first time.

Almost 1,000 people attended the first-ever Southeast Aviation Show at South Carolina's Greenville Downtown Airport on Saturday, 29 October. Weather had a big impact on the show. Rain the day before no doubt kept some pilots from flying in, while the keynote speaker, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association President Craig Fuller had to "phone in" his talk because of the snowstorm that hit the East Coast over the weekend.
