Ford has begun a series of pop-ups in San Francisco, where the brand currently has no formal dealership, to reconnect with consumers and remind them that the brand is on the forefront of technology, sustainability and performance. The first in the series of four Go Further pop-ups was open from 13 April - 13 May, and the next will open in June. More

B-to-B Brands Trail B-to-C in Social Media Monitoring, Follow-Up

Many b-to-b businesses are ignoring the consumer insights that social media can provide, according to a report by Satmetrix. Only 49 percent of surveyed b-to-b brands track what consumers are saying about them via social channels, compared with 78 percent of b-to-c brands and 68 percent of brands that serve both b-to-b and b-to-c markets. Moreover, only 31 percent of b-to-b brands have processes in place to follow up on customer feedback posted on social websites, compared with 58 percent of b-to-c brands and 54 percent of those serving both markets. More



Draft Choice: Nike Launches Broadway Bowl to Celebrate NFL Draft and New Uniforms

Nike on 27 April turned New York City's Times Square into the Broadway Bowl, a full-on, truss-enclosed football field at Broadway and 42nd Street. The brand invited former NFL players, current athletes, cultural influencers and officers of the NYPD and FDNY to play a 30-minute five-on-five flag football game, to build excitement around the draft and Nike's new deal with the NFL to design the league's official team uniforms. More
