Call for I.D.E.A. 2014 project submissions!
IDRC
I.D.E.A. INTERIOR DECOR of EXCELLENCE AWARD deadline for presentation submissions is Oct. 30, 2014.

Prizes of recognition will be awarded to the best entries as determined by a peer panel of IDRC Scholarship College Course Coordinators and/or IDRC Board of Directors, with due awareness of budget, challenge, practicability and aesthetics, not necessarily in that order. Entries not meeting this basic criteria may be disqualified at the option of the judges. All entries must be digital and received by email: idea@idrcanada.org

Home decor site Houzz raises $165 million for e-commerce push

Houzz has confirmed it received $165 million in new funding as the home décor site prepares for a major push into e-commerce. Houzz is using its pile of cash and its popularity with home remodelers to fuel a foray into e-commerce. In a new section of its site called Houzz Marketplace, the company will play host to a selection of bathtubs, vanities, backsplashes and other home décor items being sold by thousands of online retailers.
