Member vote required on bylaws revision
IGLTA
To streamline the board nomination process, the IGLTA board has voted on a small bylaws change that will permit earlier selection of new board members. We request the support of the general membership to ratify this change. The amendment would allow the Board Nomination Committee to present its slate of proposed board members for a board vote prior to the board meeting that occurs in conjunction with the Annual Global Convention. This will enable newly appointed board members to observe the last half-day of the in-person meeting that occurs in conjunction with the convention. This is currently not possible because notification occurs after the convention begins. Here are the ORIGINAL BYLAWS and PROPOSED CHANGES. Voting will remain live until 5 p.m. EST on 27 January.More
