ITS America statement on American Energy & Infrastructure Jobs Act of 2012
ITS America
ITS America President and CEO Scott Belcher issued the following statement today in response to the release of H.R. 7, the American Energy & Infrastructure Jobs Act of 2012: "ITS America applauds the leadership of Chairman Mica for crafting a long-term transportation bill that will create jobs, enact critical program reforms and put innovative technology to work addressing challenges from traffic congestion and highway fatalities to infrastructure financing. "Not only will the traveling public benefit from a safer, more efficient and cost-effective transportation network, but investment in intelligent transportation systems will create good jobs and make the U.S. more globally competitive by modernizing our freight network, improving supply chain efficiency and keeping people and goods moving safely and on time."More
