US Senator Robert Menendez to speak at ITS America's Congressional Roundtable on July 14 ITS America Share ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() U.S. Senator Robert Menendez, D-N.J., will join ITS America members for a Congressional Roundtable lunch on Wednesday, July 14, to discuss his priorities for the transportation authorization bill and energy legislation, as well as the general legislative outlook for the rest of the Congressional session and the political horizon for the November mid-term elections and beyond. Senator Menendez serves as Chairman of the Senate Banking Subcommittee on Housing, Transportation, and Community Development, and also serves on the Senate Committees on Finance, Energy and Natural Resources, and Foreign Relations. In addition, Senator Menendez chairs the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, which works to elect Democrats to the U.S. Senate. Regional University Transportation Centers launch new distance learning program in transportation ITS America Share ![]() ![]() ![]()
The nation's Regional University Transportation Centers have announced a new online distance education program in transportation, the Transportation Leadership Graduate Certificate Program, to assist in educating the transportation leaders of the 21st Century. The program's objective is to nurture those individuals with potential leadership qualities in both the public and private sectors and to assist them in moving along the promotion track from excellent technical contributions to management responsibilities and leadership roles. The theme of the program is "Transportation Policy, Management and Operations." Additional information can also be found on the UTRC website.
