The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is responsible for putting forward a vision for nationwide, interoperable health IT.  Their work requires that they also support the creation of a learning health system that is patient-centered and uses information to continuously improve health and health care of individuals and the population.  They have begun to get input for a detailed roadmap outlining goals, principles, objectives, strategies, and tactics toward this effort. H1N1 hospitalizations on the rise in Georgia

The highly publicized outbreak of H1N1 that turned into a pandemic last year has resurfaced within the state of Georgia. "We're seeing an uptick, or a spike, in hospitalizations from H1N1 in Georgia, which is pretty unusual.
