MEMA members,

We are excited to announce the 2016 Fall Training initiative,
Keeping Your Customers with Oil (and With You!)

Training dates are 10/5, 10/6, 10/26, and 10/27 — Sign up today!

This will be a two-part training series conducted by Warm Thoughts Communications at no cost to MEMA members. The sessions will cover:

Reviewing the benefits of oil heat, the actual cost of heating system choices and the important information related to energy efficiency.

Reviewing what employees have been doing and what they can do, to create stickiness among your customer base and reduce the likelihood that customers will leave.

Creating a company culture where the entire team is focused on the idea that saving or gaining a customer is everybody’s business.

Empowering our oil heat employees and getting them prepared and confident for difficult conversations.

Identifying at-risk customers and steps for minimizing their departure. This will include dealing with homeowners who are involved in property transfers, considering upgrading their old oil system, or dealing with USTs or outside ASTs.

Understanding energy efficiency and best practices for communicating energy saving options.

Reviewing what employees need to know about BioHeat® and low-sulfur fuel, so they can correctly discuss and promote today’s oilheat with customers.

Understanding oilheat customer attitudes, perceptions and behaviors. We will introduce the findings of the NORA Market Research Study and train employees on the issues that are of greatest importance.

These half day training sessions are designed to benefit all levels of employees, including techs, drivers, sales, customer care reps and managers. There will be four sessions - morning and afternoon over two days in Brewer on October 5th and 6th and again over two days in Brunswick on October 26th and October 27th, to allow for maximum participation and ease of traveling for participants.

Ed Cardell

Each session will be conducted by industry expert and veteran trainer, Ed Cardell, who has spearheaded some of the industry’s most successful and highly rated training workshops in the past. In spite of last winter’s price relief, your employees are already dealing with customers strongly considering other options. Give them the tools to defend your customer base!
