Hostess may soon release frozen deep-fried Twinkies

Hostess has big plans up its high-fructose corn syrup sleeves. The snack company may soon release frozen deep-fried Twinkies to grocery store freezer aisles, according to the New York Post. Hostess, run by Apollo Global Management and Metropoulos & Co., is also rumored to be reworking its snack lineup to include a bread line of bagels, tortillas, and English muffins.

There's more green at Fenway Park than the infield or the monster wall. The Red Sox are growing vegetables and herbs in a rooftop garden. The produce is used in food and cocktails sold at the concessions, at nearby restaurants and in the team's flagship restaurant that prepares meals for about 40,000 people during home games.

Blue Bell preparing to return to store shelves

Blue Bell is another day closer to resuming ice cream production at its Alabama plant. The company says employees are helping and testing upgrades to the plant, three months after all products were pulled off the shelves due to listeria concerns.
