Air Canada, U.S. Reach Deal on NHL, NBA Flights from Bloomberg
Air Canada, that country's largest airline, and the U.S. reached an agreement allowing the carrier to provide charter service to professional ice hockey and basketball teams in the domestic U.S. market. The airline agreed to an "unprecedented level of monitoring and enforcement" on charter flights for sports teams traveling in the U.S. to ensure compliance with U.S. law, the U.S. Department of Transportation said in a statement. Air India Resumes Bookings as Pilots Withdraw Protest from The Wall Street Journal Air India resumed ticket bookings for all flights after 212 pilots agreed to withdraw their four-day protest against the national carrier's plan to cut incentives and flying allowances.
