Distributor Members — If you haven't already submitted your 2013 Membership and Safety Questionnaire, please do so immediately. Submissions were due yesterday, April 17. We're still waiting on 20 percent of the membership to complete the questionnaire — please take a few minutes to fill it out online or complete and fax in the printed copy you received in the mail. NACD sponsors state You Be the Chemist Challenge in Virginia
The top 15 students have emerged from a Virginia You Be The Chemist Challenge participant pool of more than 1,200 grade 5-8 students.
The top five placing students from the NACD sponsored Fairfax and Loudoun County Challenges will travel to Suffolk, Va., to test their knowledge of chemistry concepts, scientific discoveries, laboratory safety against the top five qualifiers from the BASF Corporation sponsored Suffolk County Challenge on April 27 during the Virginia state competition. The winner of this state Challenge will win an expense-paid trip to Philadelphia to compete in the National You Be The Chemist Challenge at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts on June 24!
