Regulatory Compliance Reminder: OSHA 300 Logs Must be Posted February 1 – April 30

Many chemical distributors are required to post OSHA 300 logs every year. As a reminder, Form 300 is used to detail any work-related injuries; Form 300A is a separate summary form that lists total injuries by category; and Form 301 is the Injury and Illness Report that records supplementary information about recordable cases. Remember to review your OSHA 300 log to verify that all of your information is accurate. Once your company certifies that your 300 logs are complete, be sure to post the summary. OSHA requires that this summary be posted from February 1 through April 30 in a place where employee notices are customarily posted. Electronic posting does not satisfy the standard. You must also ensure that the summary is not defaced or altered during the three-month posting period.
