A German company that rebranded incandescent light bulbs as "heatballs" — in response to a European Union ban — must withdraw their product, a court ruled. The initiators, who oppose the EU ban of incandescent light bulbs, began selling heatballs as a satirical form of protest. However, a German administrative court ruled that the heatballs could be used to provide light, and therefore fell under the EU ban. The U.S. Department of Energy announced 31 tribal energy projects to receive $6.3 million over two years as part of its ongoing efforts to support tribal energy development and continue strengthening the partnership with Tribal Nations.
