After hosting the First and Second Rounds of the NCAA DI Men's Basketball Championships in March, Milwaukee welcomed the international golf world to the prestigious U.S. Open at world-class Erin Hills Golf Course in June. More than 1,800 of the nation's top gymnasts descended on Milwaukee June 26 – July 3 for the USA Gymnastics Championships, held in the versatile Wisconsin Center with its 189,000 square feet of exhibit space, along with the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The Wisconsin Center, the newly renovated UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, and the new $500 million Wisconsin Entertainment & Sports Center (scheduled completion 2018) are ideal for events ranging from volleyball, fencing, figure skating and hockey, to boxing, table tennis and roller derby.

Add in US Speedskating's Olympic Long Track Team Trials at The Pettit National Ice Center in January of 2018 – and it's easy to see that Milwaukee is in a league of its own!
