The gift-giving season is here, and, to get in the holiday spirit, we encourage you to give the gift of sport to kids in need by making a donation to the NASC Sports Legacy Fund.

About the beneficiary
Oklahoma Cleats for Kids collects, recycles and distributes new and gently used athletic shoes and equipment to kids in need. In its first year of operation in 2012, Cleats for Kids delivered more than 5,000 pairs of shoes, clothing and equipment.

Arizona, Tampa to host College Football Playoff championship games

University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., and Raymond James Stadium in Tampa will host the 2016 and 2017 College Football Playoff championship games, the Playoff Management Committee announced. "It was a very competitive process," playoff executive director Bill Hancock said. "The decision was difficult for the management committee because we received eight excellent proposals. The response was affirming."

Andretti Sports Marketing will bring Formula E race to downtown Miami

A famous racing name is going to help bring zero-emission F1-style racing to downtown Miami next year. Andretti Sports Marketing will be the official event organizers for the Formula E race in the Magic City in the spring of 2015. Andretti Sports Marketing is no stranger to hosting urban sporting events, hosting things like IndyCar races and ESPN X Games in various cities. The Miami race will take place on March 14, 2015 and will be the second U.S. Formula E event, the first being in Los Angeles on Feb. 14, 2015.
