Decorated Penn Alum Joins Wrestling Staff for Next Season

A national champion is returning to Penn. Not as a student-athlete, but as a coach. Just two and a half years removed from his second-straight NCAA championship in the 133-pound weightclass, Matt Valenti - a 2007 graduate of the College - will come back to the Pottruck Wrestling Complex as an assistant on head coach Rob Eiter's staff. Morehead Continues Wrestling Success on National Level

U.S. Defeats Poland in International Women’s Dual Meet, 6-1

The U.S. women’s freestyle team faced Poland in a dual meet in a Zgozleski region of Poland, which is not far from the German border. It took seven hours to reach this location by bus, as the two teams traveled together from SPALA, the Poland Olympic Training Center in Warsaw. The United States won the dual meet, 6-1 in front of a packed gymnasium of enthusiastic fans. More
