New Tool Helps Sharpen Surveillance Images

There is a new tool available in North Florida to enhance the often grainy surveillance photos and tapes that can solve crimes like convenience store hold-ups. The Levy County Sheriff's Office used a $30,000 federal grant to buy the Star Witness Pro Image Processing training, computer and program. Officials said Star Witness can enhance a wide variety of images, including thermal, night vision, and infrared as well as surveillance tapes. More
