from SCNow There is an effort afoot by South Carolina Youth Shooting Foundation (SCYSF) and local officials to establish a Sporting Clay Club in the Florence District Five Schools, according to Rick Hemingway, vice-chairman of the SCYSF, and District Five Superintendent Dr. John Morris. "We are excited about the prospects of this program and the opportunities we have to instill life skills in youth involved in this program," Morris said. "Skills such as respect, ethics, sportsmanship, teamwork, focus, dedication and commitment are skills to be mastered to become a productive and contributing member of society. ‘Shooting’ is simply the vehicle with which we can deliver our message."
