Contract awarded for Army outer tactical vests

Federal Prison Industries, Washington, D.C., was awarded a $20,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide for the modification of an existing contract to increase the ceiling for outer tactical vests for foreign military sales in support of various countries. Work will be performed in Yazoo City, Miss., with an estimated completion date of Aug. 25, 2013.More
CITA removes compact cotton yarn from DR-CAFTA short supply list

The Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements has determined that an acceptable substitute for certain compacted, plied, ring spun cotton yarns is available in the United States-Dominican Republic-Central America Free Trade Agreement countries in commercial quantities in a timely manner. The product, which is currently on the list in Annex 3.25 of the DR-CAFTA Agreement ("Short Supply List") Agreement in unrestricted quantities, will be removed, effective 180 days after publication of this notice.More
