Detroit Free Press    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
Border crossings increased about 5 percent in 2011 over the previous year at 11 U.S.-Canada crossing sites, but the modest increase will do little to end debate on the need for a new bridge between Detroit and Windsor. Ontario eked out modest growth of 0.7 percent during the third quarter last year, trailing the national average, according to figures released recently.
