U.S. gasoline price falls after hitting 2009 high

After hitting a high for 2009 last week, U.S. retail gasoline prices fell, the Energy Department, as a drop in crude oil prices pushed fuel costs lower. The national price for regular unleaded gasoline declined 2.8 cents over the past week to $2.67 a gallon, but was still up 44 cents from a year ago, the department's Energy Information Administration said in its weekly survey of service stations. The Recreational Park Trailer Industry Association, which has 250 member groups, is warning campground and RV park operators to think twice before investing in used FEMA park trailers being auctioned by the General Services Administration. "It may look like a bargain, but it might be a short-lived bargain," said William Garpow, RPTIA's executive director. "If you put it in and it makes your customers sick, that’s not a bargain, that’s a liability lawsuit." More
