National Park Service preparing exercise prescription in Washington, DC, area

The National Park Service is writing a prescription for outdoor recreation in the Washington, D.C., area. The agency says it will spend nearly $85,000 to launch the D.C. Park Prescriptions program later this year. Park Prescriptions is a project that unites health care providers with park managers to promote activities that get people outside and moving.More
