Camp Copperhead is a year-round getaway! A beautiful family style campground open year-round (though they have to shut off the water before the first freeze, they still have electric for the hunters). Two rambling creeks run through the property with a private, shaded island for tents as well as creek side camping. Huge RV sites, campfire rings, 30 amp service, well water, gray water, and dump station included. 18 acres of grassland and 30 acres of wooded mountainside filled with trails. They have 45+ sites and are only 3 minutes away from Tyler County Fairgrounds and Speedway. They have picnic shelters available. They are only 60 minutes from Fenton Glass. They have biking and hiking trails. Only minutes away from Ohio River, Museums and antique shopping.

If you love beautiful tree covered mountains, green wide-open pastures dotted with old wood and wire fences, and wholesome, down home, extremely friendly people, this is the place. If you're looking for a rural, family-friendly campground not too far off the beaten path but far enough to provide a relaxing atmosphere to slow down life's pace for a time, this is the place. If you're idea of camping ranges from setting your lounge chair in the middle of a rambling creek and plopping down with a good book, to exploring in the woods, on shaded trails criss-crossing over mountainsides, this is the place.

When sisters Vicki and Cathy first visited the campground they fell in love with the scenic views, the peaceful and relaxing pace, but mainly they loved the idea of owning a small, rural campground on the land they wanted to retire on. It's like always having company over! And coming from a very big, extended family they've grown accustomed to having lots of company! That's why Camp Copperhead!

They have a camping package for everyone, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Seasonal, and Hunting Season. For special occasions and group gatherings, we offer Picnic Shelter Rentals, Community Room Rentals, Open Field Rentals, and Bandstand Rentals.
