Diamond Lake is a 157 acre resort with 270 campsites. Their campsites range from full hookups with 50 amp electrical, water and sewer. They also have 10 motel rooms for those who don’t want to “rough it”. Their motel rooms have either 1 or 2 double beds. Some are available with a pull-out couch for that extra person. All of their rooms have microwaves and mini refrigerators. They also have 3 cottages with fully stocked kitchens and TVs right on the lake and a rental camping trailer. Diamond Lake Resort is located 11 miles west of Owensboro, Kentucky off Highway 56. We are 2 ½ hours away from Churchill Downs in Louisville and Nashville Tennessee. Abraham Lincoln’s boyhood home is just an hour away.

They have 5 lakes to satisfy the fisherman in the family. One of the lakes is a Catfish stocked “Pay Lake”. They have regular fishing tournaments to satisfy your competitive spirit. Other lakes with “natural unplanted” fish are available for you to test your skill. Another one of their lakes is full of “pet” fish, just waiting to be fed with food that they supply at the Pit Stop Bait Shop.

The Go-Karts are back at Diamond Lake Resort and they’re better and faster than ever! We’ve got Karts for the racer of nearly every age. If you’re 5 years of age, and meet their height requirement, you can drive yourself around our Grand Prix track in one of our “Kiddie Karts”. For the older kids, up to 100 years old, or so, we’ve got “Naskarts”. Their full bodied karts allow the driver to sit under the roof of a mini-replica Nascar racer and test the limits of grip and speed on our “Slick Track” oval.

They also offer Pedal Boats, Golf-cart rentals, Paintball, Swimming pool, Laundry facility, Grocery store, RV supply's, Propane filling station and monthly activities as well as an ice cream social and bingo every Saturday. If all this has built an appetite, they’ve got that covered too. The Pit Stop Grill has juicy burgers, steak sandwiches, hotdog's, fries, drinks and lots of other great food to satisfy the biggest hunger. And a pizza parlor and an arcade opening soon ! They have many outdoor pavilions along with a 200 seat banquet hall with full kitchen, and a 750 seat live Theater. Enjoy fishing at Diamond Lake Resort 7 days a week from 7 AM. to Sun-down. Every 3rd Saturday of every May through Oct. they hold a Fishing Tournament to see who can catch the biggest fish and earn bragging rights. Catch one of their tagged fish and win the money in the Bonus Jar. Bonus Jar prize is $100.00 maximum. So happy casting and good luck! Fishing Rates: $12.00 per ticket, 2 pole per person maximum and 6 fish per ticket maximum. Children 10 and under fish free (with paid adult ticket ) Any fish 10 lbs or over are catch and release only (tournament fish). Fishing Tournament: All fish caught during our fishing tournament are catch and release only.

Their rates are $25.00 per night; Passport America member rate is $12.50. Passport America discount is valid Sunday through Thursday. Passport America discount is valid for 2 nights within any 7 day period. Holiday weekends and special event weekends are excluded.
