Located 17 miles from Ogallala from the east and 24 miles from Big Springs from the west.

They provide their guests with the best in facilities and look forward to welcoming you to what you'll consider to be your home away from home. They offer cozy, log cabins, full service RV sites (some pull thrus) including electric, water, sewer & telephone, Immaculate restrooms and showers, private rec room, new in-ground pool with slide, playground, nature trail, coin laundry/game room, fish & game cleaning station, picnic tables, fire pits, volleyball, basketball, baseball, horseshoes, fenced in dog run and more.

Their well-stocked general store offers most anything you might need. They carry a full line of groceries, gift items, firewood, tackle and other fishing, boating, hunting and camping supplies. There is a Home-style café, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Featuring their piping hot, New York pizza and home-made smothered burritos.

Your PETS are WELCOME but they do ask that they be on a leash and with you at all times and that you do not leave them unattended in the cabins. Please be considerate of other campers and clean up after your pets. (A $50.00 deposit is required for our Cabins). They are a private facility. No state permits are required. Alcohol is permitted. Nearly everything about Lake McConaughy is big! Its 35,700 surface acres make it Nebraska's largest reservoir with over 100 miles of shore line. At full storage, McConaughy is 20 miles long, four miles wide and 142 feet deep at the dam. The dam is among the largest of its type in the world, and the fish grow to trophy proportions, accounting for several state records. Even its nickname, "Big Mac" reflects its giant stature.
