River View RV Park & Resort is located on a mile of Vidalia Landing on the mighty Mississippi River Bank overlooking the oldest settlement on the River. Natchez, Mississippi famous for Southern Hospitality as well as its Antebellum (Pre Civil War) Mansions including Melrose, home of the Natchez National Park. Downtown is filled with great shops including antiques. Excellent restaurants allow you to step back in time and enjoy remarkable meals in romantic settings. Of course the best catfish in the South is there also.

Events not to be missed include the "Great Mississippi River Balloon Race," "The Natchez Blues Festival," "Angels on the Bluff," the Delta Music Festival and Vidalia's own "Jim Bowie Festival" just to name a few. Best of all, you can relax in front of your RV and watch barges go up and down the river. An evening stroll on their river walk at sunset is a perfect way to end eventful days.

Their park consists of 193 fully equipped (water, sewer, 20/30/50 amp electric) sites and is certainly big rig friendly with most sites wide paved pull-thrus. Local television is available on the south end of the park. A fully equipped laundry with free modem ready phone line is always open. This is a great place for your Rally or Group events. In addition to the clubhouse, they have two separate meeting facilities one having a complete catering kitchen. Group Fire Rings and Tables are in the spacious picnic areas. They also have a primitive area for tent campers.

They are a well managed RV park containing most of the amenities anyone would expect of a modern campground such as a store, private baths, pool, hot tub, 24 hr laundry, modem hookups and free Wi-Fi in and around the building. They are Big Rig friendly with large concrete pull thru sites and full hook-ups. The clubhouse is large and comfortable with a fireplace and large picture windows affording a view of the covered patio, the pool, hot tub and the Mississippi River beyond. It contains a large TV/VCR, VCR tapes, books, magazines, games, and a small kitchen with microwave, refrigerator and sink area. There are personnel on site to help groups with their needs for rallies and also to plan park activities throughout the year. The friendly helpful staff offers authentic warm Southern Hospitality. It is a beautiful setting along the Mississippi River with an adjoining 3 mile river walk. There are also many nearby restaurants and attractions. There is a shuttle available to the Isle of Capri Casino in Natchez, and one cannot forget all of the Antebellum Home tours in Natchez.
