Message from the President
Scott G. Hall

Registration Now Open for the 2014 Mid-Year Meeting!

The PBUS conference registration module is now active so we encourage everyone to begin registering for the conference. Please make sure you sign-in as a member before registering to get the member conference rates! If you are not yet a PBUS member, please join to get great conference rates and network with fellow bail agents across the country.

In the next few editions of the PBUS News Update, we want to highlight some of the sessions that will be offered at this year’s meeting. This is just a peak preview in case you want to attend a particular session:

Have a bail tale to tell?
Join your colleagues to share laughter and frontline war stories, unique to what we do for a living. For instance, did you ever hear the one about the agent who invited his Deputy buddy out to the parking lot of the jail to show off his brand new Taser? And then accidently shot him with it?

You will hear this story and others at the Monday, July 14, 2014, PBUS general session. This panel discussion will host the telling of tall bail tales and stories of legendary exploits. There are a lot of characters in the world of bail and you are invited to count yourself among them. Join us this summer at the mid-year meeting at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville.

If you haven’t already done so, please make your hotel reservation as soon as possible, as our room block is filling very quickly. The Group Code is PBA.
