PRSM2014 National Conference Urges Retail Industry to Re: Think Share the Learning, Relive the Experience
PRSM
PRSM2014 National Conference attracted the facilities maintenance industry’s key players to Orlando, Florida, this week, for three days of learning, business networking and industry camaraderie. In his opening remarks to the membership, incoming Board President Kirk Beaudoin set the tenor for the conference by challenging his colleagues to “Re:Think” how facilities professionals study and resolve facilities maintenance problems; how they gather and manage the influx of new data; and as a result how to arrive at workable, cost effective solutions. To the theme of Re: Think industry professionals considered new approaches to asset, data and vendor management when doing business in new and existing markets, dealing with hazardous waste, learning new approaches to sustainability, maintaining aging equipment, and other topics key to successful retail facilities management in today’s business environment.
