Keynote speaker Chad Knaus to address a winning mindset at the Radiology Summit

The Bob Luther Emerging Leader Travel Scholarship was created to give RBMA members who are first time practice managers or those interested in becoming a practice manager a chance to experience the value of RBMA. The yearly scholarship recipient is awarded the opportunity to attend either the RBMA Radiology Summit or RBMA Fall Educational Conference. Fellow of the RBMA is a prestigious accomplishment to be held in high esteem by RBMA peers. RBMA is now seeking candidates for its 2014 class of fellows. ICD-10: CMS agrees to limited end-to-end testing
In an apparent nod to concerns raised by physicians, payors, hospitals and Congress, the federal government said that it would conduct limited "end-to-end testing" of the new ICD-10 diagnostic coding set this summer with "a small sample group of providers." "End-to-end testing includes the submission of test claims to [the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services] with ICD-10 codes and the provider's receipt of a Remittance Advice that explains the adjudication of the claims," CMS said in a memo to providers.More

Is the iPad making a big difference in the lives of radiology residents who have them? For education, definitely. For clinical use, not quite yet, though the situation is evolving rapidly, according to a survey in the Journal of the American College of Radiology. Researchers from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center found that a whopping 86 percent of residents given Apple iPads were using them daily or weekly for their residency education and clinical work.More
