Should you set up an ACO?
RBMA    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
On March 31, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services published a rule containing proposed regulations for Accountable Care Organizations under the Affordable Care Act. The purpose of ACOs is to improve the coordination of patient care by hospitals, physicians, and other providers by providing incentives to work together. Those ACOs that achieve lower growth in health care costs while meeting quality performance standards will be rewarded through the Medicare Shared Savings Program. ACO participation by patients and providers is voluntary.

Come hear a panel discussion at the RBMA Executive Education Program this summer that will give you the facts on: Setting Up an ACO: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
