The faculty chairs had this to say about the third annual ACR-RBMA Forum: New Strategies for Business and Clinical Leaders in Radiology:

"Diagnostic imaging in America is under attack. These crises are unprecedented. Radiologists and practice administrators need cutting edge information in order to succeed."
— Frank J. Lexa, MD, MBA

"We are in a time of almost unprecedented change for the industry. As we move toward Accountable Care in some form or another, Radiology must find the means through which they can provide input and feedback for the most appropriate level and type of imaging even if the service is provided outside their realm of care. All of this will require strong leadership teams of Physician/Administrator dyads. It is through meetings such as the ACR-RBMA Forum that individuals are capable of gaining the knowledge necessary to bring this about."
— Keith Chew, MHA, CMPE

Join Dr. Lexa, Mr. Chew and an expert group of faculty members for two days of intense strategizing and learning.

Preparing radiology for ICD-10-CM: Mission-critical documentation & training
RBMA    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
Accurate coding and full payment hinge on physician involvement. As much as 80 percent of the documentation currently submitted by radiologists would not support the assignment of diagnostic codes under ICD-10. The bottom line — 80 percent of claims might not be paid. MedLearn is devoting a full webcast seminar, third in a series, to this vitally important topic. This session is specifically targeted to radiologists and all support staff who play a role in physician documentation. Highlights:
  • A brief discussion of why and how physician involvement is so indispensable to the success of your transition to ICD-10-CM
  • Documentation essentials detailed guidance with the information required for correct ICD-10-CM code assignments, as well as to support code selection in the event of a claim review or audit
  • Role-based training tools and techniques, including the use of quick-reference guides and mini-chart audits that can reveal lack of justification for code assignments
  • Q&A opportunity a portion of the session will be devoted to answering as many questions as time permits
RBMA Members will receive a discount of 10 percent off of individual sessions. Click here to find out how to apply for the discounted rate.
