Body of helicopter pilot recovered following crash

The body of a pilot who was flying a helicopter that crashed near Manitoba has been recovered. The 69-year-old Surrey, B.C., man was flying the Bell 206 helicopter when it went down in a remote area about 50 kilometres west of Gull Lake. The aircraft was reported as overdue earlier in the day and a search operation was launched with the help of a Royal Canadian Air Force CC-130 from 17 Wing Winnipeg.More
