RCAF runners Chief Warrant Officer Claude Faucher and Major Serge Faucher achieved excellent results at the Canadian Masters Indoor Championships held in Toronto, March 10 and 11, 2018.
On the first day of competition, Chief Warrant Officer Faucher, from Canadian Forces Base Borden, Ontario, ran in the 800m, finishing a strong fourth in 2:13.90 minutes. His brother, Major Faucher from National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa, Ontario, picked up a silver medal in the 200m with a finishing time of 25.49.

U.S. defense contractor Lockheed Martin Corp plans to offer Japan a stealth fighter design based on its export-banned F-22 Raptor and advanced F-35 Lightning II aircraft, two sources said. Lockheed has discussed the idea with Japanese defense ministry officials and will make a formal proposal in response to a Japanese request for information (RFI) after it receives permission from the U.S. government to offer the sensitive military technology, said the sources, who have direct knowledge of the proposal.
